Please note: due to changes in regulations and constant design developments, we sometimes need to change details such as binding and inlay materials.
It's not the first time I've made a fan fret bouzouki, but this time I have kept it simple. There is just as much logic in this idea as there is for a guitar, in some ways more. Long bass strings help the strength of tone, but short treble strings make melody playing so much easier, so the fan frets have a little of the best of both worlds - and yes, fan frets are fun!
The body is Claro Walnut, with a cedar top and a small soundhole to deepen the tone. Ebony fingerboard. Walnut neck laminated with Rosewood, and Rosewood bindings.
